Boots, Imports, and Rare Albums...
Jimi Hendrix...
Karl J. Geisler...
These boots were made for walking:
I got all this from a variety of sources. Don't put too much faith into
the reviews/ratings.
We all have our own tastes,
etc., and I'd hate for you to pass up an album just because someone else
doesn't like it. It also seems that CD quality can vary wildly. On more
than one occasion I've had people tell me, "I've got that boot, and it doesn't
sound nearly as bad as the person who wrote this review makes it seem. Maybe
he had a bad copy." Of course, whenever possible, listen before you buy.
You have to understand that I put a lot of this stuff in here for my
own benefit. If I come across one of these albums someday, I'll know
where to look for at least baseline info about it. It's icing on the
cake if others can make use of it.
Just a note I'll pass on to you all: I've been advised that it is
"beneficial to buy bootlegs that are under the label "Pyramid", or (same
thing) "Triangle". Not to say that others are bad, but if you see the
label and you have the money - buy it. Although mislabeled often, most
all pyramid releases are authentic."
Note:
For a list of stuff that I actually have, check out
my list
of recorded material. Some things appear both here and there, but
not all.
If you have anything to share or correct, please
email me. Thanks.
Boots aren't so bad after all!

Check out Craig's
site. He's probably got more boot info that I do--at least until I'm
done stealing his.
You should have your browser window this wide (or select a smaller font size):
Can you read this entire line? If not, you won't be able to read the boot stuff.
