Pictures from the Skijor Event
held at Baker Park in the Twin Cities, November 21, 1998.
We had a gorgeous day, a fine turn out, and a lot of fun. Quite a few dogs
and people had an opportunity to get their first taste of skijoring.

People had the chance to talk to the experts, sit in on information seminars,
purchase equipment, sign the trail access petitions, etc.
Queuing up for a training run
The best part of the day was that everyone got to try it for themselves.
We didn't have any snow, so people ran behind the dog(s) on foot.
(It's probably a good thing that skiing wasn't an option since this was
the first time for many people.)
