Machinery Shop Sales

Terms of the Sale:

Bids via email will be accepted until the end date for this batch. Each week a new batch of items will be listed for sale.

Send email bid to: Pam Wilson at pwilson@umn.edu, indicate what lot you are bidding on and your bid amount. At the close of business on the end date, the highest bidder per lot will be awarded that lot.

We accept cash or money orders. No personal checks will be accepted. Make money orders payable to the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Unless you are a tax exempt organization and provide proof of exemption, you will be charged sales tax of 7.775% on the purchases.

University departments must provide their EFS string and their building address.

We do not deliver. Rigger cost is included to get items to dock for pickup. Items will need to be picked up at pre-determined dates and times.

If suitable transportation is not possible on the pre-determined dates and times, we will hold items at our facility for 3 days after payment is made. After this time period, we will offer the held items for sale again.

All items are sold as it. No refunds, no exchanges. Lots are sold in their entirety - items cannot be sold separately.

Bids closed on Tuesday, November 13th at 4:30 PM.
Items can be picked up from our dock on November 16 and 19th - from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
