The program will begin with an orientation meeting followed by a faculty-student picnic lunch.  During the summer, several (optional) social outings will be offered including:

•     Canoeing at a nearby state park
•     Attending a local theater production or art exhibit
•     Watching a St. Paul Saints baseball game at the Midway Stadium.

The closing event will be a dinner cruise on the St. Croix River.

Several of these events will be open to faculty and students from other summer undergraduate research programs (in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Behavior Sciences, Life Sciences).
