Research Principal research interests are in the area of human factors/ergonomics, including studies of human information processing, decision-making, motor control, and human machine systems. Studies are both analytical and experimental and use quantitative modeling of human performance characteristics, capabilities, and limitations in various task situations in order to provide a proper match between the operator and his or her tasks.
