Research

Research interests include theoretical and applied thermodynamics, transport properties, fluid mechanics, and heat and mass transfer. This includes equations of state for pure gases and gaseous mixtures and gas transport properties useful in heat/mass transfer analysis, such as thermal conductivity, viscosity, and ordinary and thermal diffusion coefficients. Applied thermodynamics includes power cycle modeling, analysis of new and combined cycles, cogeneration, energy conservation schemes, heat pump and absorption cooling processes, and the second law analysis of thermal systems.
