Major research interests are in the area of heat and mass transfer ranging from cryogenic temperatures up to the temperature at which matter is in a more or less ionized state (plasma); this includes basic studies of moisture migration in porous media, including its effects on heat transfer and on cooling problems in gas turbines. Recently his research has been mainly on gas turbine heat transfer. Some of this work is in cooperation with other faculty members of the Heat Transfer Division. |
