Welcome to TEE Lab

Research topics include studies of fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, bioaerosols, and others related to energy use and indoor environments.

Major equipment includes a commercial kitchen, a ventilation chamber, and an ASHRAE Standard 52.2 wind tunnel. Others include various filtration test equipment, with capability of handling bioaerosols. Numerical simulations are also conducted in cooperation with the University of Minnesota Supercomputer Institute.
