Heat Transfer Lab Flow Measurements in Film Cooling Flows

The performance and effectiveness of film cooling flows is governed by the way that the coolant flow exiting the film cooling holes interacts with the freestream above the surface being cooled. Thus, a large component of our film cooling reaseach is concerned with measuring the flow characteristics of the interaction and the coolant exiting the holes.
