Much of the experimental work described above is conducted in the Composites Laboratory. This laboratory has been initiated and supported in its entirety from Mantell's research grants. The laboratory includes 2 hydraulic presses, an autoclave, ultrasonic flaw detector, tape laying apparatus, and flow visualization mold/video equipment.
