Mercury Thermometer Exchange

• Labs order non-mercury thermometers through U Stores and DEHS pays for them
• DEHS will pick up same number of mercury thermometers after the new ones are delivered

All new employees in the Mechanical Engineering Department are required to take Initial Safety Training conducted by the Department of Environmental Health and Safety (DEHS). Please visit the website http://www.dehs.umn.edu/training_newlabsafety.htm for the details.

All current employees in the Mechanical Engineering Department who have not attended the annual safety training and two makeup sessions, are required to check out the DVD video through the Safety TA (gane0033@umn.edu).
