Key Request Process Faculty and Staff ME Department June, 2006

All key requests for both buildings should be directed to keys@me.umn.edu. All requests should be submitted via e-mail by the faculty or staff member responsible for the space. Be sure to include the room number(s) with the person's name in the e-mail request.

Also effective June, 2006: there is a one-time $20 access fee that covers both keys and proximity cards. This charge is for new people. Faculty and permanent staff are exempt from this fee. However, $10 will be charged for replacement for lost proximiity cards or keys.
