You did it, didn't you? You typed a big long cross section name like "Cross_section_of_part", and when you went to do the drawing Pro/E put "Section Cross_section_of_part - Cross_section_of_part" on your drawing.

Here's how to fix the problem:

go into the Part mode (note, you're probably in Drawing mode when you discover the problem, so you'll need to either find your part window or open up a new one.
Select the menu items:

X section -> cross section -> modify

Then pick the absurdly long cross-section name you typed before. Pro/E will now let you change the name. Use something simple, like "A." This will appear as "Section A-A" on your drawing.
