Starting Pro/E on itlabs accounts: (in ME 308 or EE/CSci 4-204) Type the following at the UNIX command line: $ cd /class/username % resetenv % module add mcad/proe % pro &Only do the first step if you are taking a course where special class directories have been set up. If so, replace "username" with your login name. Also, after the first time you go through the above sequence, you need only do steps one (if taking a class) and four on subsequent times. NOTE: If Matlab 5.3 has already been loaded, you need to unload it using the following command: % module delete math/matlab/v.5 Starting Pro/E on meserv accounts: (in ME 10 or ME 452) Type the following at the UNIX command line: % module load proe % pro & Stopping Pro/E: (anywhere) Go to the main menu, and select the File/ Exit item. A dialog box will appear asking if you really want to quit. Click the "Yes" button. Back to the Index |
