Pro/Engineer has a good online help facility. To start it, on the Unix command line, type: 
proguide.com

or, if you are running Pro/E on meserv: 
  proguide
You should see a window like this:

Select the View : Select Volume menu item, and this index of available volumes will appear:

Select the volume you want to look at, and click the OK button. The first page in that volume will appear in a separate window:

You can now browse through the guide using the Previous and Next buttons. To choose a specific page number, click the SelectPage button and type the page number into the dialog box that appears. Clicking OK will bring up that page. To see the index, click the Index button. Double-clicking an entry in the index will bring up that page.

To search for a particular subject in any volume, select the View : Search menu item from the original Pro/Userguide window. Enter your search pattern in the entry box, then click the Search button.

Note: you can go from one window to the other at any time. Use the Pro/Userguide window to navigate when necessary, and use the other window (the one with the right background) to browse through a particular volume
