Have you always wanted to refer to your Pro/E dimensions by a real name, rather than sd10? You can. To rename a dimension, do the following:
In Part mode, select Modify
Pick DimCosmetics (the default would have been Value)
Pick Symbol
With the mouse, select the dimension you want to rename, and enter the new name when prompted. You are limited to 31 characters.
Save your part. The new dimension name can be seen and used in part mode, in relations, in model tree, everywhere.
