The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota is now accepting applications for a Research Shop Foreman in its Mechanical Engineering Service Center. The Mechanical Engineering Service Center has a full time professional staff who assist in design, manufacture and assembly of parts and research prototype apparatus working from sketches, blueprints and CAD files on manual or CNC lathes and milling machines. ARC, GAS, MIG & TIG welding is available. The Research Shop Foreman is responsible for managing all activities of the Service Center.
