Mechanical Designer

Recent graduate with 2+ yrs experience

MGS Machine, located in Maple Grove, Minnesota is a world class manufacturer of custom-built packaging machinery for pharmaceutical, food and consumer industries. We seek a mechanical designer to join our professional engineering team in the design of custom built, high speed automated equipment.

Responsibilities include:

-Design and detailing of assemblies and piece parts

-Creating assembly drawings and Bills of Material

-Collaboration with electrical engineers and assembly technicians

-Documenting changes during assembly

We prefer a two-year or four year machine design or mechanical engineering degree (BSME) and 2+ years industry experience. A strong interest in mechanisms/automation, understanding of PLC logic and SolidWorks experience a must.
