  • Labs for Tuesday(09/08/09) have been cancelled to ensure uniformity in progress across all sections.

  • Labs on Wednesday and Thursday will discuss about the basic lab safety procedures and introduce you to the hydraulic test bench setup. Please bring a copy of the lab safety manual & lab 1

  • Fluid power mini-book has been made as a required text for the course. The book can be downloaded from http://www.me.umn.edu/~wkdurfee/projects/ccefp/fp-chapter/ or purchased for $5.

Please consult with the textbook or other resources to understand the working principle behind it. You can use the datasheet to get approximate values for various parameters in your simulations.

  • Eye protective goggles are a compulsory requirement. Please make sure you bring them to the lab starting from the first session itself. They are available for purchase at the University Bookstore and range anywere between $3 - $12
