Nondisclosure and pre-invention assignment forms

Use the following forms when student design teams must receive confidential information from the company, or when the company would like intellectual property created by the students to be assigned to the company. All agreements are done individually between students and the company. The University is not a party.

  1. Simple one-way nondisclosure form. Use if you are providing confidential information to students. Remember that students must present the results of their design project at the Design Show. (PDF file, 2 pages)

  2. Pre-invention assignment form. Use this to have inventions owned by the company. Note that on any patents resulting from student work, the students will still be the named inventors, but patent will be owned by the company. (PDF file, 2 pages)
