LOTS OF ROBOTS! THE 2008
|
For six weeks, 200 college students in the introductory design course in Mechanical Engineering design and build their own robot. Their task is to create a machine which "does something interesting".
The results of their efforts will be on public display at the Robot Show. It is the largest collection of robots assembled in one place in the Twin Cities and is fun for kids of all ages. The show is open to the public and there is no admission. It is run like an open house, so you can come for any or all of it. We invite you to join us for this exciting event.
For complete information about the project, please see the Robot Project web site
For a detailed description of the charge to the students, see the Robot Project Brief
If you want to help us publicize this show, here is a flyer (PDF file) you can print and post.
For an idea of what some of these robots might look like, we have more pictures from prior robot shows.
And, if you miss this Robot Show..... The Robot Show is held every December. Bookmark this page
