• (11-09-2009) HW 6 Posted. Due Wednesday 11-18-2009 (2 days after Mid Term II). Topics for Mid Term also listed in the Schedule web page. Get yourself an IT Labs account. If you have questions on fee contact the IT Labs administrators and my email sent a week ago.
• (11-04-2009) On Projects. Teams of 3 or 4 are allowed. If you don't have a complete team or alone send me an email and I will be happy to pair you up. I will send these emails on Thursday 11-12-2009.
• (10-28-2009) Class Notes for 10-28-2009 have been posted.
• (10-27-2009) HW 5 only do parts b and f in problem 7.13.
• (10-26-2009) HW 5 is now posted. For the HW Sections 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 will be of help along with the class notes.
• (10-26-2009) Class Notes for 10-26-2009 have been posted. Corrections to Revised simplex notes have been made. If you identify any errors let me know.
• (10-26-2009) Open Office Presentation slides have been posted. To open these you will need the software from openoffice.org website (linked here). You might be able to access and open the presentations with Windows Powerpoint.

  Mid-Term 2 will be held on Nov 16th 2009 (Monday) in Class.

• (09-18-2009) IMPORTANT I received the following information from the Office of the VP for Academic Affairs:

  Exposed to H1N1 flu? Question: If a student has been exposed to H1N1 but has no symptoms, should the student be excused and asked to stay away from class?
  Answer: No. Currently, there are no restrictions recommended by MDH or CDC for those who believe they
  have been exposed. Exposed persons, however, should monitor themselves carefully for symptoms of influenza.
  Students who have symptoms should stay home until they have recovered and are without a fever for 24 hours.
  Students who have been exposed but have no symptoms need to attend and be allowed to attend class.
